What are your opening hours?
We are open 7 days a week to help you with your projects:
Monday to Saturday: 7:15 am to 5:00 pm
Sunday: 8:00 am to 4:00 pm

What payment options do you support?
We accept standard payment methods online and at our yard. For more flexible payments, you can also Shop Now, Pay Later with Afterpay.

Yes! We offer convenient local delivery options with minimal wait times.
How much does delivery cost?
Delivery fees are calculated at checkout based on the total weight of your cart and your specific postcode zone (Zones 1–5).
Do you have any free delivery offers?
Yes! When you purchase 10 bags of eligible garden and landscape supplies you'll get FREE local delivery. The discount code GM10BFREEDEL will automatically be added at the checkout. This offer applies to Chch Zones 1–3 for delivery on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and excludes firewood, charcoal, coal, or timber products.
Can I order bulk landscape and firewood supplies for delivery?
Absolutely, we deliver in Christchurch. For bulk landscaping products (scoop, cubic metre), and bulk firewood (3m³, 6m³, 9m³, and 12m³), shipping fees are distance/weight-based and calculated at checkout to keep the process transparent and fast.
What quantities of firewood can I buy?
We stock Crusaders Premium Firewood in bags, scoops, or 1m³ or order bulk loads from 3m³ up to 12m³. Firewood is available for purchase in-store at our yard or online. Stock levels change frequently.
Are you an accredited firewood merchant?
Yes, Gardenmakers is a registered Trusted Good Wood Merchant. Our Crusaders Premium Firewood is reviewed and accredited for providing quality, dry, kiln-dried, and seasoned wood.

How do I apply for a Gardenmakers trade account?
To set up a commercial account, please email our team at sales@gardenmakers.co.nz or call us on 03 341 5688. We will send you an application form to get your business pricing loaded into our system.
Do you deliver large commercial bulk loads?
Yes. We regularly supply commercial sites across Christchurch and wider Canterbury. Bulk delivery fees are weight-based and calculated at checkout, or you can coordinate large-scale contract deliveries directly with our dispatch team.
Can trade clients order restaurant-grade charcoal?
